In Part 2, Dr. Noah Manyika and Scott continue to discuss the Prevail Model of Leadership and the first few letters of the PREVAIL acronym.
“The fulfillment of your call is critically dependent on you being present.” — Dr. Noah Manyika
In Christian discussions today, we talk a lot about how we are fighting a cultural war. It is important to acknowledge that as we fight this war, it is both external (outside our homes) and internal (within our own homes). Christians need to reconcile that we are to live not in two dualities. We are not to have one set of rules for “sacred things or circumstances” and another for “secular things or circumstances”.
Duplicity in perception is a deception. In order to fulfill the Great Commission, we are called to shape the culture, not to simply react to it. Without impacting the culture for the Kingdom, we are irrelevant.
With this in mind, all believers are called to a Prevail Model of Leadership, whether leading outside our homes or within. Within this model lies the PREVAIL acronym that enlivens each aspect and brings it from concept into practical understanding and modern application.
